Thanksgiving Success

Our Thanksgiving celebration started days before the Thanksgiving Day, with visiting with friends and family, lots of grocery shopping, cooking and eating. I didn’t cook much, just helped out in the kitchen a little bit. Our Thanksgiving meal is mostly deep fried turkey, ham and lots of American food shared by family. I am so glad that it didn’t turn out as stressful as most celebrations tend to be – at least not for me :)!

We’ve been back in ALabama for a couple of days now. It is good to be home… but today, hubby’s off to work, already missed lunch and had been busy welcoming the coming back cadets! Yes (sigh), vacation’s over! We are back officially!

We have been chillin’ here in Florida since Saturday! Just busy going about the Thanksgiving rush – cooking, shopping, socializing and more! Matthew is having a blast monopolizing all the attention from everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving, all! Be safe and have fun!

Happy Thanksgiving

We have been here in Florida for the Thanksgiving Holiday since Sunday. Hubby had a week long vacation from the school and as planned, we travelled from Alabama to Florida to be with his parents and relatives for Thanksgiving.

It has been good days so far, preparing for that big feast. I really had nothing much to do since we will be guest at his Aunt Rosie’s Thanksgiving feast, and Mother-IL and Bro-IL Tom have pretty much planned out as to what to bring to the feast.

So we are here just chilling and sampling Tom’s baking and cooking delights, which are very appetizing! So the pounds hubby happily lost from his job in Alabama, he will most probably gain them back a week of being here. As for me and Matthew, I am just happy to gain as much pounds as we could.

Looking Forward to Thanksgiving

What do you most look forward to this Thanksgiving holidays?
If you are not looking forward to this holiday, what do you
dread most about the Thanksgiving holiday?

If you are not celebrating Thanksgiving, what holiday or occassion do you most look forward to?

This Thanksgiving, I look forward to good food and good company.

We will be going to Florida for thanksgiving. This will be our first thanksgiving with hubby’s family. I look forward experiencing the Thanksgiving tradition they have. And also just relaxing. It will be a week long vacation for us.

I hope there isn’t anyone in Florida who dreads us coming over. 😉
