Deck My Blog, It’s Officially Christmas

We’re done decorating for Christmas! Christmas has officially started in our home and in my blog!

Every year, my darling hubby takes care of assembling Christmas Tree. I could do it myself except that it’s too heavy and too tall for me to assemble especially the top part. He does a better job with putting it up anyway and it’s tradition! I take care of decorating the tree! With regards to overall decorations, he does the manly stuffs like stapling the garland to the walls and putting up the lights in the ceiling, while I take care of placing the little pieces to a pleasant arrangement.

We’ve had our Christmas tree since 2003. We weren’t married yet when we bought it. It’s the very first Christmas Decor we’ve ever bought together for our very first Christmas together. Every year, we buy one special Christmas ornament and we garnish it with a picture that was taken that Christmas. So we have a collection of personalized ornament since 2003.

What you see in my header is a portion of our Christmas tree, with the picture Christmas ornament that I made for 2006. The little ‘stocking’ is one of the gifts Matthew received last year, his first Christmas. I think it makes a perfect header to shed some Christmas spirit!

In my recent blog-hopping, I bumped into Deck The Blog Anti-Contest. Check it out before closing on Dec 10, 2007!

Deck your blog with lots of Christmases! You could be qualified to win some really nice prizes, or simply participate to join in the fun in shedding some Christmas spirit in the … blogosphere!

Color of My Heart

Your Heart Is Pink
In relationships, you like to play innocent – even though you aren’t. Each time you fall in love, it’s like falling for the first time.

    Your flirting style: Coy
Your lucky first date: Picnic in the park
Your dream lover: Is both caring and dominant
What you bring to relationships: Romance

What Color Heart Do You Have?

This one really cracked me up! In relationships, most of the time I play coy and innocent even though I am not! So true!

I do like picnic in the park, but I like watching romantic movies more with my dream lover, my husband, who is caring and dominant, just the way I want him to be. I like a dominant man but not violent or overly proud and definitely with something to speak of. Between me and him, I don’t mind being at the background and the one providing support. But I don’t mind being appreciated either.

By the way, Pink and Red are my favorite colors.

Face Off

If you can trade faces with anyone, who would you like to trade faces with? Why?

I have posted this question before in my curiosity on how people of different walks of life would answer. I would like to know each one’s criteria on a facial beauty. With this question, I got to know Princess Grace of Monaco, whom I researched about and whom I think do have the face of timeless beauty.

I personally have a hard time answering this question.

My face is an ordinary Filipino face. I have big eyes, flat nose, big mouth but as a whole, my face is not too offensive (at least I think so). I have a face that will blend in a Filipino crowd. Nothing fancy! Simply ordinary!

With an ordinary face like mine, I should have a long list of women with pretty faces that I would be willing to trade faces with if I could. But the thing is, I can;t think of any particular one person to choose. I am probably just too picky or simply just too impossible, because I want a perfect flawless but not-famous face! I see a lot of women with pretty faces but I always see the flaws. There are those whose face are almost perfect and flawless, but very famous.

I don’t know why I am taking this too seriously! It’s not like I could really trade faces with anyone … not yet anyway! Maybe, the question should be – who would want to trade faces with me?

My Right Brain Rules, The 2nd Time

It’s consistent! My Right Brain rules again!

I found another Left Brain vs Right Brain Test that evaluates Brain Hemisphereric Dominance through 18 questions. In this test, I responded as a right brained person to 14 questions, and as a left brained person to 4 questions. It seems I use my right brain the most.
