menu bar

A menu bar is the navigation system of the website. It may span horizontally on top or bottom the header, or vertically along side the main content of the webpage. Ideally, the navigation system should be consistent within the website.

header

The header is at the very top of the web page. It usually contains a logo, the page title and descriptions of the website.

domain name

A series of alphanumeric strings separated by periods, such as www.yoursite.com, that is an address of a computer network connection and that identifies the owner of the address.

URL

The URL or uniform resource locator is an internet address (for example, http://www.hmco.com/trade/), usually consisting of the access protocol (http), the domain name (www.yoursite.com), and optionally the path to a file or resource residing on that server.
