Behind Life’s a Charm!

My name is Charlotte, born and raised in the Philippines - true Filipino by heart!

I lived in Japan from 2000 until 2008 but I don’t speak the language. A lot of milestones in my life happened in Japan. I met my husband Michael in 2003, married him in 2004, and had our baby Matthew in 2006. (All in Japan).

In June 2008, with my family we moved to United States. We stayed a few months in Florida at Dear Hubby’s hometown. And then, hubby got a job at a military boarding school in Alabama. So we made our final move to this little town in Alabama to live in the campus, which we share with the students. Here, with great hope, as a family we are going to create new milestones.

On August 12, 2009, just two days before Matthew’s 3rd birthday, I found out I’m pregnant for our 2nd baby. We are so excited for the arrival of this new blessing. It will be a great additional to our family, something we didn’t plan but definitely not something we have prevented, so this is meant to be!

I consider myself as the lucky crab that got out of the basket, away from the other crabs who relentlessly pull each other down. I never aspired what I have right now, but I thank God everyday for all His blessings!
