American Idol Finale

I’m so upset that Adam Lambert didn’t win! Although I have been a Kris Allen fan, I think he won out of sympathy votes and religious “antigay“ “Gokey fan” “Adam hater but not exactly Kris’ fan” conservative votes over Adam Lambert.
The finale show was great. The supposed duet with Adam and Kris with the Queen totally overshadowed Kris, unfortunately. The highlight of the AI Finale Show for me is Adam with the Kiss. I was wondering what Adam was wearing on his shoulder until the Kiss showed up in their full ensemble! I fell off the couch watching them. Love the elevator boots! Great show!

adam can sing that is for sure!
- Dee May 22, 2009 at 12:43 amAdam and Kris just don’t go along doing duets together. Their vocal ranges don’t match, that’s why Kris always appears overshadowed. I somehow felt that with “No Boundaries” and “We are the Champions” the organizers are actually setting up Kris to fail. -sunjun-

Regardless whether where Kris Allen got his votes, they are still valid votes. And Kris doesn’t deserve being doubted. He is who America chose. After all, not everyone who watches AI votes. If they are 2 contestants left and you don’t like both, would you still vote? Why waste money right? Or is the voting free?
If America is saying that American society is willing to deliberately vote so as just to sabotage/destroy the chances of another, well … I have nothing further to say. ^^

I, too, was very disappointed that Adam didn’t win. And you are right…it is because of homophobia. Adam is the more talented of the two and is a total entertainer. But he is also not your typical masculine macho rocker guy.
